Autumn is my favourite time of year to shoot weddings. The colours are beautiful and its nice to get wrapped up warm for the ceremony and then unwind inside with good food and a healthy drink.
I grew up near St Mary’s church in Benfleet so was really looking forward to shooting there. Church weddings always have a touch of the spectacular and Beverley and Ben’s was friendly and emotional, fun and colourful. Everything was perfect, except when the Priest locked all my photography equipment in the church while I had sneaked off to snap some portraits! Thanks to the best man for all the phone calls he made to get my kit back!
Beverley and Ben enjoyed one of those magical days when the rain didn’t dampen any spirits. It really was a beautiful ceremony and The Westcliff Hotel provided a perfect party overlooking the Thames Estuary. The day finished with an amazing sunset. One of those times when everyone just stops and looks. Pictures don’t do it justice. An amazing moment that will be remembered by Beverley and Ben forever.
