I met Carrie and Paul in Kenya, where they were guests at a wedding I shot. I was staying in the same hotel and got to know them well during the week, so was chuffed when they asked me to shoot their wedding.
And what an awesome day, full of the things I love – vintage cars and buses, beautiful details, lots of colour, an amazing church and stunning location for the reception.
London has a unique character and iconic buildings, and the reception at Westminster Boating Base had the backdrop of one of the most iconic views of the city, Battersea Power Station. The church was in Clapham and as many of the guests were not local to the city, they were taken on a tour of the sites in old Routemaster buses on their journey to Westminster.
Beautiful people, sites and sounds – what more can you ask for to make one of the most memorable days.
